On January 4 th , 2022, Adolfo “Junito” Redillo Jr., loving son, father, brother, uncle, and
husband passed away at the age of 40. He was born in Manhattan at New York Hospital on
October 20 th , 1981, to his loving parents Elizabeth Nazario and Adolfo Redillo Sr. He was raised
in Brooklyn which he called his home. He was known affectionally by his family and close
friends as “Junito”.
Junito spent the bulk of his life working for the New York City Department of Sanitation.
Working in a variety of harsh conditions, he was a dedicated worker and family man. Junito was
a devoted Christian who enjoyed economics, politics, computers, video games and weightlifting.
Junito was a dog lover who nurtured his dog Milo until its last days. He was a proud man who
worked tirelessly to achieve his dream of owning a home and retiring with his wife. Junito loved
his mother, and he would always say, “Happy wife, happy mother, that’s what makes me happy”.
He was a kind man who believed in responsibility and hard work. His hearty laugh and big
personality touched the lives of his family and friends. Junito could always be depended on to
provide and protect his family. He believed in living life to the fullest, he believed that everyone
has potential, and that we all must work hard for our dreams.
He is mourned by his parents Elizabeth Nazario and Adolfo Redillo Sr., his wife Guistina
Redillo, his daughter Tatyanna Redillo, his stepson Joseph Matera, his sister Tania Redillo, his
brother Nathaniel Redillo, his nephews Christian Cotto and Damien Perez, his nieces Nina and
Laila Dozier, his mother and father-in-law Mario and Teresa Mazzone. He is also mourned by
his cousins, uncles, aunt, friends, co-workers, and everyone who holds his memory dear in their
