Obituary

Janik Saul Soto – September 28th 1981 – February 8th 2021
Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Janik Soto, age 39, announce his
passing on Monday February 8th, 2021. He died unexpectedly in his sleep where
he resided at Victory Outreach Men’s Home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He
was born on September 28th, 1981 in Brooklyn, New York. He is survived by his
parents Juan R. and Gloria E. Soto that love him more than words can express.
He also leaves behind his brothers, Adriel and Gabriel, his sisters, Yezennia and
Diana, his aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many great friends. Janik
affected and was loved by many people in his lifetime.
Janik attended the Frenchburg Job Corps in Kentucky and graduated with the
class of 2004. His passion for cars earned him a certification in basic automobile
maintenance and repairs. He was currently employed as a Parts Sales Manager
at AutoZone in Philly.
Janik had a deep love for his family, and cherished the time spent together,
particularly at his late grandmother’s home, the matriarch of the family, talking,
laughing, telling stories and enjoying family dinners together.
He married the love of his life, Angie in Bay Minette, Alabama on June 30th,
2017 where they had many happy times together. After the passing of his loving
wife, Janik moved to Philadelphia to start a new beginning and to restore his
relationship with God.
Janik will continue to stay with us all through memories. We will see him
everywhere. He loved superheroes T- shirts, was an avid reader of Stephen King
books, he loved his sneakers! Enjoyed cooking from an early age, enjoyed
watching sports, and playing video games. He was known for his humor and
quick wit; he was good with words and enjoyed a good conversation. We will
remember his charming, friendly and sympathetic ways.
With teardrops running down our faces, we bid you farewell. See you in heaven,
dearest Janik! You will be missed forever and always.

Rest In Peace
