Samuel Narvaez III was born on October 20th, 1987 in Brooklyn, NY.
His going home leaves a huge hole in the lives of those who were touched by his love, humor and entertained by his antics. He will be missed everyday by his father, Samuel Jr., mother Jacqueline, sister Stephanie, brothers David and Andrew, grandmother Nilda Narvaez and grandfather Samuel Guadalupe Sr., love of his life Sarah Ann, as well as uncles, aunts, cousins, and many, many friends. Growing up he attended PS 251/312, IS 78, James Madison HS and upon moving to Staten Island...Port Richmond HS. After high school Sam went on to be a dedicated medical professional, passionate about helping others.
Sam loved his family. He was close to his Dad. Some of the fondest memories they shared was going to the Little League World Series in Williamsport PA and going to Fenway Park in Boston. He loved family game nights #lochnessmonster lol orchestrated by Sisi and weekend getaways.
Sam also loved spending time in South Carolina with his mother and family.  When in South Carolina he attended church there and was loved by the congregation. We would go to the lake....Carowinds...he loved and wanted to make memories with his younger brothers.
Sam loved being the big brother and "Bud" to his 3 siblings Stephanie (Sisi), David and Drew. He had wonderful moments with them in NY and South Carolina.
Sam was a loving partner, comedian and supporter to his beautiful longtime girlfriend Sarah Ann. They loved to spend time watching Knicks basketball together, traveling and enjoying life.

Sam was beloved by everyone who ever met him. His life affected the lives of so many people as evidenced by those present here as well as those who have expressed their condolences from afar.

Sam loved sports and was very athletic. His favorite sports were baseball and basketball. He was so happy when he won his first Little League Baseball Championship and helped Anchor House to a championship in the Staten Island Christian Softball League. He loved the basketball court. He often would get into trouble being late to pick up his siblings after school. Dad would catch him at the basketball court with his best friend Kenneth, and Sam would say he lost track of time. He had to play one more/ run back another game.
Sam loved his friends had a very close relationship with them especially Kenneth. They considered each other as brothers. They attended school and worked together. They would get in trouble together and would cover for each other so you wouldn't know who was at fault lol
Sam had an amazing voice as he loved to sing and sing for the Lord. Another early memory was when he and his dad did a duo of the song Shepherd Boy.
His sister and others have a collection of videos of him singing. He loved to sing with his brothers at Anchor House especially his close friend Jason Ramos.
In recent months Sam spent his days and weeks seeking the Lord. He would do his daily devotionals in the morning, attend the weekly Brotherhood Bible class on Fridays and attend church with his grandmother and family on Sundays.
It is our expectation that those who believe and trust in the Lord will one day be reunited with Sam. Until then, Rest In Peace in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We Love and Miss You. See You Soon.
